Previous owners bookplate to the front pastedown of W. G. Chowles, Winslow. In a full cloth binding. Externally sound, with bumping to the head and tail of the spine, with patches of rubbing. Light bumping to the extremities. Rubbing to the calf spine label, with a small amount of loss to the head. The odd mark to the front and rear boards. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally generally firmly bound, binding strained in places. The frontispiece is detached but present. Pages are generally bright and clean, with light age toning and occasional light spotting.
