In the particular volume Fraser has created a series of illustrations to accompany the poetry of Charles Cotton. The poem featured in this volume are as follows: Caelia's Fall, Resolution in four Sonnets: Alice, Marg'ret, Mary, Martha; A Sonnet; Epitaph; Summer Quatrains: Morning, Noon, Evening, Night; Epigramme; Sonnet; Winter. The front of the original dustwrapper is present, rebacked onto a modern paper wrap, with a ink title to the spine. Evidence of bookplate removal to the front pastedown, with bookplate partial remaining. It features the name 'John C. Tarr&apos. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards, held in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally generally smart. Light bumping to the extremities, with rubbing to the head and tail of the spine. Fading to the spine. The odd mark to the front and rear board. Small tide mark to the tail of the rear board. Partial bookplate to the front pastedown, with evidence of bookplate removal. With the front of the original dustwrapper present, rebacked onto a paper wrap. With an ink inscription to the spine. The dustwrapper is lightly bumped to the extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally clean with the odd spot, heavier to the first and last pages. Very Good . Ill.: Claud Lovat Fraser.
