Henry Hope Crealocke was a British soldier, artist and author, best known for his wartime sketches published in the periodical The Illustrated London News. This charming work details the author's experiences regarding foxhunting, salmon fishing, covert shooting and deer stalking, also containing a number of charming poems on the subject. In a half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally very smart with slight rubbing to the joints, extremities and spine. Slight cracking to the spine. The odd mark to the boards.
