Illustrators to this work are Finlay Mckinnon, V R Balfour-Browne and Frank Wallace. Photographs to this work are by Lady Anne Murray, The Author, Noel Wills, Philip Stretton, J Wolf, Diana Darling and Mrs Schroder. The author of this work, Sir Hugh Fraser, was a regular contributor of sport and natural history articles to various periodicals. Fraser was the proprietor of Stromeferry estate, Ross-shire. He was a judge of the High Court and was knighted in 1917. To this work, Fraser discusses salmon fishing, deer stalking, fauna in the forest, high hills and more. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the head and tail of spine as well as to the extremities. Author's inscription to the recto of front endpaper. Offsetting to endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound with the odd plate starting to loosen in places. Pages are bright with just the odd spots. Very Good .
