Featuring a selection of papers from the author and essayist Joseph Addison, taken from the Spectator and Guardian publications. This collection of work are aimed at young people, and include themes which includes cheerfulness, dreams, self-knowledge, love and marriage and drunkeness among many others. Rebacked, in a full calf binding. Externally generally smart. Rubbing to the head and tail of the spine, with patches of rubbing to the extremities of the boards.
