This is the first English edition of this successful memoir written by Alexander Andryane on his misfortunate time being imprisoned by the Austrians. He was eventually released and penned these memoirs of his time. An interesting insight into this portion of political history. Rebacked with contemporary boards. Externally, generally smart. A few light marks to boards and some patches of minor rubbing to the head and tail of spine, as well as to the extremities. Prior owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, Geoffrey G Briggs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright. A few light spots to first and last few pages. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: None. Very Good Indeed .
