The titles of each essays are as follows: On A Man's Writing Memoirs of Himself; On Decision of Character; On The Application of The Epithet Romantic; On Some of The Causes By Which Evangelical Religion Has Been Rendered Unacceptable To Persons of Cultivated Taste. A scarce work. Rebacked with the original boards preserved. In an half calf binding. Light rubbing to the spine label, resulting in a small amount of loss. Rubbing also to the extremities and to the front and rear boards. Spots and a ink spot to the fore edge. Tape repairs to the front and rear hinges. Light offsetting to the extremities of the front and rear pastedowns and endpapers. Light spotting also to the front and rear pastedown and endpapers. Ink inscription to the front pastedown.
