Written by Ann Fisher, a grammarian who publisher 'A New Grammar' in 1745, which went through many editions and was very popular. She also wrote 'New English Tutor' and 'Spelling Dictionary&apos. Undated, dated using WorldCat entries, of which there are three entries. Collated according to worldcat entries, this copy also has fifteen pages and an illustrated woodcut to the rear. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, worn. Closed tear to the front wrap. Light marking to the wraps causing just a little discolouration. Rear wrap is lifting to the head.
