Externally, generally smart with bumping to the extremities as well as to the head and tail of spine. Patches of light rubbing to the boards. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Prior owner's inscription to the recto of front endpaper. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown, Hugh Rees. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright.
