Top corner coated ffep light signs of old price erasure & along top edge of next (blank) page neat authorial inscription to one of his students: Gilbert N. Davis, Compliments of the author. Some of the author s papers are held at the Univ. of Minnesota where he taught from 1898 on after receiving degrees from Yale & Cornell (1885 & 1890) and after having taught Mechanical Engineering at Purdue. Gilbert N. Davis graduated from the Univ. of Minn. in Mechanical Engineering in 1904 (according to a commencement program that s viewable online). Very Good. Inscribed by Author(s).
