Book, XXXVI- 596 PP.The last edition [4-Th. ] of an anonymous collection [65 pieces] of verses and poems by undoubtedly several authors. listing the names of the Chevaliers, with their rang "Qu'ils tenoient en allant a l'Eglise" & Describing the events of the last two years in the life of Charles d' Albert, Duke of Luynes (1578 - 1621), Minister and favorite of King Louis XIII. He became Constable of France in 1621 and shortly afterwards died while on a campaign against the Huguenots. A rather poor copy: PP.527-530 with torn off right-hand margin with loss of letters/words, and PP. 595-96 also with loss of text , and most propably last page missing as well. [[PP.597??] XVIII-Th. Century full calf gilded spine with raised bands, triple, gilded filet lines at covers.Edges painted red. Not in Barbier. Fair.
