Bookplate of William Abel Pantin, an Honorary Fellow of Oriel College, is adhered to front pastedown, name penned to FEP. General shelf and handling wear, including fading, creasing and wear to boards, edges and lightly bumped corners. Notable wear to spine head, including a closed tear exposing a small element of textblock head. Age-related discolouration, tanning and foxing to pageblock, light tanning and foxing to endpapers, title pages and occasionally throughout. Within, pages are securely bound, and, other than very sporadic pencil marginalia, unmarked. CN. Poor/No Dust Jacket.
