Each volume has a gilt embossed library stamp on front board, and Volume I has embossed library stamps at various points throughout text. Boards are a little faded, with several small stains and grubby marks. Spines are quite faded and grubby. Spine ends are bumped and worn, and there is a noticeable tear to the right side of spine head of Volume II. Leading corners are worn and bent. Endpapers are quite sunned. Pages have one or two instances of age-spotting. Binding is sound and pages are tight throughout. Text is clear. AF. Acceptable/No Dust Jacket.
