Harris, 1771. 64mo, 44 x 25 mms., pp. 255 [256 blank], followed by two more blank leaves, D7 signed D5, two engraved title-pages, 14 engraved plates (of 15; lacking the plate at page 234), bound in red morocco, with a central oval panel with the Christogram JHS in gilt on the rear cover (lacking on front cover), spine gilt in three compartments, top edge gilt. A very good copy. Adomeit notes that this was the first appearance of this binding style on a miniature Bible; later editions published by Newbery in 1780 often exhibit exhibit the Christogram binding.
