The first six pages comprise enthusiastic endorsement of Trastour's work from jounalists, musician, scholars, etc. "Eleventh Revised Edition" suggests that copious copies of various editions should be found in libraries, booksellers' stock, collections, etc. OCLC has two listings for this item, for a total of eight copies. WorldCat notes that an edition was published in 1870, held by three libraries worldwide. What happened to all the copies alluded to and praised in teh six pages of recommendations?
