Title: Mathematical Essays. The Second Edition, with Additions.

A very good copy. The theologian and mathematician William Ludlam (1717 - 1788) achieved some distinction with his skills in mathematics, astronomy, and practical mechanics. An essay on the properties of the cycloid and on one of the propositions in Newton's Principia are new to this edition.
