Description: London: Printed for William Mount and Thomas Page..., 1738. 8vo, pp. 272, including half-title with adverts on verso, 3 illustrations in text, contemporary sheepskin; lacks the volvelle for the "Rectifier" on p. 95, spine and front cover repaired in lighter calf. Andrew Wakely published this work in 1665, and there were approximately 50 further editions before the end of the 18th century. Atkinson's edition first appeared in 1704. ESTC locates copies for an edition of 1736 and for 1741, but not this edition of 1738. The only copy I have been able to trace of this printing is in the BL.
