Large 8vo, 225 x 135 mms., pp. [ii], xv [xvi blank], 215 [216 blank], 21 full-page engraved and coloured plates, with acquatint added by J. Bluck and J. C. Stadler. recently bound in very attractive half plum morocco, pink cloth, raised bands on gitl spine, with title, author and date in gilt, all edges gilt. A fine copy, with the bookplate of Leonard Harris Matthews on the front paste-down end-paper. From the Advertisement: "The originals of the plates introduced in this volume were sketches made as souvenirs of the place during a visit to Scarborough 1812. They were not intended for publication, but being found to interest many persons of taste, several of whom expressed a desire to possess engravings of them, and some gentlemen having offered to add metrical illustrations to each the present form of publication has been adopted. The several authors were not personally acquainted with each other."
