Eusebius of Caesarea (c. a.d. 326) is said to have compiled the first Bible dictionary. The first book to be published in England that might be classified as a Bible dictionary was a volume of 200 pages, published in London by William Patten in 1575. A histoyhr of the numerous similar dictionaries subsequently published would probably take up several volume OCLC locates copies in BL, Cambridge, Manchester, Aberdeen, St. Andrews, Edinburgh, and Glasgow,
