Norrie was active as a publisher of short guides to towns and villages in Scotland. Some of these are advertised on the rear cover of this pamphlet, but few copies seem to survive. Probably his best-known publication is Dundee Celebrities of the Nineteenth Century (1873). The only copy that I have located is in the University of Dundee.
