Dublin: Printed for Richard Watts... and Laurence Flin..., 1761. 2 volumes in 1, bound in contemporary lightly mottled sheepskin; corners crushed Spenser's A View of the State of Ireland was first printed in 1633, but it was written much earlier, sometime around 1596; and the character of Ireneus is usually collated with Spenser himself.
