[no date], [1856] 12 (in 6s), 154 x 94 mms., pp. xii, 69 [70 blank, 71 - 72 adverts], with newspaper clippings pasted to bottom of page 69, coloured engraved frontispiece of canary, contemporary half sheepskin, marbled boards (dulled); some slight wear to binding but a good copy, with the contemporary autograph "Eliza [?Anderson] on the top margin of the Preface, and a note on the verso of the title-page which appears to be in the same hand: ""Canary losing its Feathers. Add a little linseed in place of the kemp with a little hard-hard boiled egg once or twice a week."
