Description: A Paris, Chex [sic]Marcilly rue St. Jacques, No. 91 [1817] 24mo, 22 x 16 mms., pp. 63 [64 blank], ], seven engraved plates opposite texts, contemporary red moroco, gilt borders on covers, gilt ornament in centre of each cover, all edges gilt; some very slight wear, but a very good copy. [10138] There are a number of Marcilly miniatures on the market, but none identical to this one; nor could I find one in the usual databases with the same layout, plates, and configuration. A copy with having almost the same description was sold at auction in 2007,
