Slightly bumped at top and base of spine, corners bruised and rubbed, light spine lean, small split to material near head of spine, front end paper cracked, previous owner's details on prelim page, frontis tissue guard lightly foxed and page edges age-dar. ¶ Previously serialised in The Idler. Includes a semi-autobiographical account of the author's relationship with 'Dr.Budd'; some incidents recounted were imaginary but his relationship with Dr James Cullingworth (appearing as 'Dr Budd') is of immense biographical interest. The final note on the death of Mr. Munro and his wife in a train accident was edited out in later editions."
