Dark blue cloth somewhat marked and worn, rear hinge cracked. Uncommon. "Lady Ursula Chetwynd-Talbot was a daughter of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre, and his wife Winifred Paget, and a granddaughter of the 20th Earl and Countess of Shrewsbury. She was married four times: firstly to Hector Stewart in 1930; secondly to Lt.-Cdr. Michael Burton Stewart in 1942 (div. 1952); thirdly to writer Patrick Hamilton in 1954; and fourthly to Dr. William Leonard James in 1964. She took the pen name Laura Talbot for her short stories, plays, and novels, which included The Gentlewomen (1952), Prairial (1950), Barcelona Road (1953), The Elopement (1958), and The Last of the Tenants (1961). She was killed in an air accident at age 58. Fairly Good/No Jacket.
