Sophie's Tavern was the place in the later 1940ies and through the 1960ies. It was located in what is now Fremont, Ca. and served a menu that drew in the crowds with their homemade dishes. Traditional German, Weekly specials and special night the place was always packed, and of course the Tavern for a simple beer. Sophie's closed in 1962. 64 pages Good.
