He later moved to San Francisco where he worked as edition or the Call as well as Hearts San Francisco Examiner. His associations with Mark Twain, Ambrose Bierce, Jack London, Robert L. Stevenson, Bret Hart and others forwarded his journalist career. This is a collection of his stories, memories of various historical events of those heady days when Silver was King.
