Cover is clean however tanned due to paper used and age. Cardini stated his career ons his fathers ship as ships galley boy. Forced to abandoned ship when it went down with his father the captain, he then moved on to other ships working as galley boy to head chef. during WWII he cooked on many troop ships. His skills honed her became a restaurateur in Oakland California. His was one of the first cooking shows on Television in the 1950's and was very popular. This book is loaded with many of his favorites and international recipes. Index, 207 pages. Good.
