He came West in the 1860ies when much of the romance was gone and the hard living miners were in need of consolations. He traveled widely through the mining camps as well holding the pulpit of St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco. A lot of early California History as well as the story of man who fought all comers to uphold his faith. Good/Good.
