Text is clean and unmarked, binding is tight, B&W photos and drawings a nice clean copy. A dwelling has stood on the site since before written history. The site overlooking the Atlantic on one side and a small lake on the other. The houses have been built, torn down, rebuilt and have had a turbulent history of owners. From the time of the Gaelic clans, home to 19th century landowners, a widow, home to a poet, literary travelers, statesman, renowned surgeon and people struggling for Free Ireland. A great history of a house and its ghosts, it is today a modern hotel on Irelands west coast. Good/Acceptable.
