Title: West-Running Brook.
Description: New York, Henry Holt, 1928. First edition, first issue without the first edition slug on copyright page. Handsomely bound in quarter green linen spine stamped brightly in gilt; and green paper covered boards with the gilded paste-down of the brook and landscape. Very clean and tight throughout. The first issue with "roams" on p. 44. In a very good dust jacket with some small chips and pieces missing at the top of the spine and a small piece in position but not secured. Vertical 1" closed tear at the top center of the front panel. A collectible copy with the splendid woodcuts by J.J. Lankes.
