A printed slip tipped in at front states that the work, 'Will be completed in Eight Divisions, substantially bound in cloth, gilt edges, Price 8s. 6d. each. Subscribers will be held bound to take the complete work of eight divisions.' It was originally anticipated to be issued in about twenty parts, each containing 'Five Plates and Thirty-two pages of Letterpress' (from publisher's sampler and order book in our possession).
