Metagama and her sister ship were pioneers in a new concept of passenger accommodation, in which there was no first class or second class but only a "cabin class". A delightful collection of poems, composed between 1902 and 1922 covering a wide range of subjects, many relating to his experiences at sea and deep Christian faith.
