White, 1846]. One further parts on insects (pp. 25-52, plates 7-10) was published much later, in 1874, but is not present here. The present volume comprises a part of the scientific reports BM(NH) Library Catalogue Vol. IV, p. 1698; Nissen ZBI, 3386; Rosove, 270-8.The 1839-42 expedition of the Erebus and Terror to the Antarctic under James Clark Ross was the first of the major Antarctic expeditions. This report on the fish comprises part of the scientific reports. The complete Zoological reports were published in 24 parts, in 2 volumes, over a thirty-year period and complete sets are extremely rare..
