Title: 1985 Detroit Tigers Yearbook Magazine
Description: Detroit Baseball Club, 1985. First Edition (?). Paperback. Color Illustrations; 8 1/2 x 11; 72 pages; Stapled wraps. This is the official yearbook for 1985 Detroit Tigers Season. Complete team roster. Still sealed in original plastic bag. Pages are totally pristine and tight. Front cover also reads '1984 World Champions'. Most of the photographs are from the 1984 season, including my two fav players, the incredible battery of all-star catcher Lance Parrish and all-star pitcher Jack Morris. In 1984 and 1985 the Tigers were still playing in the historic and terrific Tiger Stadium, a player's stadium, where virtually every seat made you feel like you were on the field. Diagram of stadium, along with ticket options, and their prices. Wow, tickets were that cheap? ? The team has since relocated to a new stadium, drats. 1984 saw the Tigers lead from game one until the end of the regular season, trampling San Diego 4-1 in the World Series. Also notable for much of the program advertising. Many long time metro Detroit businesses have ads in here; too many of them now gone. Wonderful walk down memory lane....especially for this Detroit Tigers' fan!. New .
