Most of the photographs are from the 1984 season, including my two fav players, the incredible battery of all-star catcher Lance Parrish and all-star pitcher Jack Morris. In 1984 and 1985 the Tigers were still playing in the historic and terrific Tiger Stadium, a player's stadium, where virtually every seat made you feel like you were on the field. Diagram of stadium, along with ticket options, and their prices. Wow, tickets were that cheap? ? The team has since relocated to a new stadium, drats. 1984 saw the Tigers lead from game one until the end of the regular season, trampling San Diego 4-1 in the World Series. Also notable for much of the program advertising. Many long time metro Detroit businesses have ads in here; too many of them now gone. Wonderful walk down memory lane....especially for this Detroit Tigers' fan!. New .
