Bruges is where Memling lived and did much of his great work, dying there in 1594. The book has 83 pages of text, written by Paul Lambotte, and 40 pages of b/w plates, with 53 works. Memling was one of the great Flemish master, renowned for his religious themed pieces.. Good+ .
