He also serves as Deputy President of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection (CSCP) and Director of National Materials Corrosion and Protection Data Center. His research interests cover a wide range of basic and applied corrosion research, including corrosion-resistant steels, environmental degradation of metals and coatings, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion big data and modeling. He has published over 600 peer-reviewed papers in international journals.
