Engraved title, engraved coat of arms, forty-six full-page engraved emblems (marked 0 to 45), initials, head-pieces, and tail-pieces. Considered one of the most popular emblem books of the 17th Century. Bookplate of Fletcher Battershall on the front pastedown endpaper. Rubbing to covers, gilt decorations on the spine are almost completely worn. Lower corner of the front free endpaper was cut.
