The most important representatives were Pierre Alechinsky, Gaston Bertrand, Anne Bonnet, Jan Cox, Jules Lismonde, Marc Mendelson and Louis Van Lint. There is no collective style. Their style varies from post-expressionism to various forms of abstract art, from lyrical abstraction to geometric abstraction. The group had a resonance at home and abroad. Honorary President : Baron James Ensor.
