This is the classic early work on invertebrates that live in fresh-water bodies (lakes, rivers, streams, etc.). Small signature of E. L. Shaw on the front free endpaper and few no signs of use. Two old ink blots (each a half-inch in diameter) on the front cover, spine cloth a little concave; a bright and clean copy in very good condition..
