Simon Xavier Guerrand-Hermès is a board member of Hermès International (the fifth generation of his family to be involved with the luxury firm), vice president of Hermès Paris, and the founder and chairman of the Guerrand-Hermès Foundation for Peace. He is also currently serving as the treasurer for the World Conference of Religion for Peace and has been involved with the Fes Festival in Morocco. In addition, Guerrand-Hermès is an honorary fellow of the University of Oxford and received a Master in Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School. He became an Officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France in 2006. VG .
