Description: New York, Willard Gallery, 1952. Softbound. Tri-fold artisan paper. This is an exhibition tri-fold leaflet for the exhibition (the first ever for Shiko Munakata outside Japan) held December 2 to 27, 1952 at the Willard Gallery in New York. It lists 23 works, 12 of which come from the collection of Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd. There is an Introduction written by Soetsu Yanagi, director Museum of Folk Crafts in Tokyo. There is also an essay written by William S. Lieberman. The cover of this tri-fold has what appears to be woodblock design /print under the artist's name and is quite attractive. Ephemeral, and not returnable. VG .
