Signed Commemorative Postal Cover, standard 7½" X 4" envelope, cancelled in Huntington, West Virginia on 28 October 1989 with "Chuck Ripper Day" so stamped. Fine. Single Ripper-designed 25-cent honeybee stamp (Scott #2281) at upper right and large black-and-white head-and-shoulders artist's portrait of a smiling Ripper at left. Near the center, Ripper signs boldly in black fineline. Not a First Day Cover, but delightful combination of signed portrait AND postal commemorative. .
