Tagliafico boldly pens in brown ink five measures, music and lyrics, identifying it as "Beppo in 'Fra Diavolo'" and signing and dating at the bottom. ("Fra Diavolo" was a comic opera by French composer Daniel Auber that debuted in Paris in 1830.) An attractive, outstanding example. .
