Author: LORANT, Stefan Title: Lincoln: A Picture Story of His Life
Description: New York, Harper & Brothers, 1957. Hardcover. 4to. Quarter grey cloth with red spine lettering and red paper over boards, pictorial price-clipped dust jacket. 304pp. Extensive illustrations. Very good/very good. Small black mark on top page edges; a trifle musty; jacket edgeworn, with a few archivally-closed (on verso) edge tears -- but complete and overall fairly attractive. Revised and enlarged edition, quite tight and nice, of this 1952 text, itself a reworking of Lorant's 1941 "Lincoln: His Life in Photographs." Laade" and dates it 2 March 1988. Laid in is the original transmittal envelope.
