Thick, bold signature in black ink on a heavy stock buff 3/4" X 3" slip (clipped from postal card) n.p. n.y. Near fine. Comes with a printed head-and-shoulders portrait of a stern-looking La Guardia with facsimile signature beneath (likely a book frontispiece). From the collection of noted Lincoln/Civil War scholar Arnold F. Gates (1914-93). .
