Colophon at rear notes limitation of 1500 numbered copies (this #1108) signed boldly by Sauvage. Interestingly, the front flyleaf bears the early custom 3½" X 3" Art Deco-ish bookplate of Ralph G. Newman (1911-98), founder of Chicago's noted Abraham Lincoln Book Shop and co-author of the 1989 reference work " Great and Good Books: a Bibliographical Catalogue of the Limited Editions Club, 1929-1985," one of the standard LEC bibliographies.
