Ornate printed invitation "to be among the honored guests at ceremonies inaugurating" Thompson along with his lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, comptroller and treasurer for the second of his four terms. Gilt and blue circular state seal at top. In a blank area at lower left, he signs and dates boldly in blue ink: "Gov / Jim Thompson / '79." Accompanied by a near fine 8" X 10" black-and-white glossy portrait of a smiling young Thompson in suit and tie. A choice signed memento and appealing photograph. .
