Description: Oscar-winning actress (for "The Razor's Edge," 1946) who starred in "All About Eve," "The Ten Commandments" and numerous other films. TNS, oddly-trimmed (roughly rectangular) 4½" X 2", n.p. n.y. Very good. Three small tape stains at edges (one slightly touching "A" of signature). Intriguingly odd: Baxter types what's apparently a favorite verse -- "I don't mind eels / Except as meals. / -- Ogden Nash / Selected by" whereupon she pens an exclamation mark to this last word and signs large and bold beneath in black ink. Undated, but circa 1960. Accompanied by a fine, glossy head-and-shoulders 8" X 10" photograph -- printed caption on verso describes this 1969 still as from the television movie special and pilot episode of "Marcus Welby, M.D." titled "A Matter of Humanities," in which she portrayed the doctor's "long time friend and romantic interest" Myra Sherwood. .
