Minor mounting traces on verso. Comes with a fine First Day Cover, 6½" X 3½", with single 3-cent "Charles W. Eliot" stamp at upper right and postally cancelled on 28 March 1940 with "First Day of Issue" so noted. Small decorative printed cachet at upper left notes this stamp comes from the USPS's "Famous Educators" series. Typed recipient/address neat bottom center. A superb example with appropriate philatelic accompaniment. .
